Shea is totally into examining books, these days. I get such a kick out her paging through the boys' library books and then admiring her little pile on the floor when she's done.
Here the boys are in the midst of painting their little model car and spaceship. I especially like how Dex had to wear elbow pads for this activity.

We gave the boys a sled for Christmas, so naturally, opening it quickly evolved into indoor Daddy sledding. I couldn't help but giggle the next day when D.R. woke up asking, "Why is are my shoulders so sore?" Aren't we lucky to have such a playful daddy in the house?

The boys got their first models for Christmas. With Daddy's help, they were able to assemble them, but they got complete control over the painting process. Here's Dex with his space ship.
