It goes without saying that having D.R. around more this summer as been AWESOME. This is mostly apparent, however, when I see the way he plays with the boys. They can't get enough of him! I'm thankful that he's the kind of daddy that lets his kiddos tackle him and dunk him in the water.... so are they.

I'm equally thankful for a little Sheabug that keeps me entertained while the boys are busy with their daddy! Shea has been loving the water this summer, too.

Where have we been?

As usual, the awesome fullness of our summer schedule, in combination with a laptop-in-repair and a malfunctioning camera, kept me from posting about all the things I'll surely hope to remember come September. Oh, bother! :)

If I one day find myself browsing through this blog, trying to remember how we spent the summer of 2010, I hope I will view the giant hole in posts as proof that there was just a massive amount of fun to be had. Day trips, vacations, swimming lessons, afternoons outside, soccer, picnics, birthday parties, sprinklers and wading pools, concerts, late nights, lazy mornings and adventures galore.

Summer has been grand.

And it's not over yet. :)
