Backfire

D.R. and I had grand plans to take the boys to get their first two-wheel bikes yesterday. A focused Dexter, however, who was busy building a "clone space shuttle tagger" out of legos, was determined NOT to leave the house. Certain that the fear of not getting a bike would get the lead out of his pants, D.R. said, "That's fine, Dexter. If you don't want to come with us, you can stay here with Mommy. I guess Jaxon will be the only one to get a big boy bike."

Dexter replied, "I would LOVE to share Jaxon's bike with him!"

Then Jaxon chimed in, "And I would LOVE to share my bike with you, Dexter!! Let's share a bike! We can take turns!"

"Good idea, Jax!" shouted Dex.

Harumph.
