Only two weeks behind...

My folks came to visit a few weeks ago, which was such a treat. It was a short visit (about 24 hours) but it was a good one. It was fun to see them with the kids and it's been nice hearing the boys ask about Mimi and Granddad, recently. It's hard having them as far away as they are...
Another great thing about having my mom around... I usually get a photo or two of me! That rarely happens!
Shea has had a goopy nose for over three weeks, now. It started about a week before my parents got here, so she was in prime runny nose territory while they were here. Poor little thing. She just got done with her first ear infection and first round of antibiotics and yet the fevers and goopy nose continue. We may need to bring her back into the doctor, but in the meantime, I'm still hopeful this will resolve on its own.
In other news, she is a little speed devil! She climbed our entire flight of stairs this week (she got half-way up before I noticed and then I trailed her to make sure she wouldn't fall). Looks like she's going to be as daring as her big brothers were. Lucky me!

Mimi, making Shea giggle.

The boys were thrilled to have their first egg-dying experience.

Dex, examining the loot.
Of course, the boys devoured a good half of the eggs within minutes of coloring them. It was actually pretty hilarious.

As busy as the boys are, they can be such cuddle bugs, sometimes. Mimi got to enjoy some double cuddles while reading bedtime stories to the boys.

Sick little Shea didn't miss out on the cuddles, either. Granddad had plenty of room in his arms for her! (Of course, that might explain why he's still fighting a nasty cold!)

Easter cookies were one of the many projects Mimi planned with the boys.

Good thing Granddad was here to help them decorate!!

The happy group, eating their masterpieces.

Green tongue Jax. Just look at the pile of sprinkles!

Out for a little stroll...

Mimi and Shea, clapping and giggling.

Group photos before the departure...

Trying to get a photo with my parents and all three kids proved very challenging. These are our attempts.

...frustrating, perhaps... but very entertaining.

Great pics! It's so nice to see a picture of you with Shea too. It's hard to get those when you are usually the one taking the pictures!
